Certaines sous-cultures établissent des mécanismes formels pour développer une dynamique de groupe, tandis que d’autres créent des communautés plus informelles où les adhérents et les sympathisants peuvent interagir. Changes linked to developers associated with a Moscow time zone between December 2025 and March 2026 were added to Euro-Office by Nextcloud staff after the split, according to Cybernews researchers. Euro-Office is a fork of OnlyOffice code. The analysis suggests that 98.6% of its document engine and 99.2% of its live service component were originally written by developers in Russian time zones, while European-authored contributions account for roughly 0.5%. Euro-Office has imported around 370 changes from OnlyOffice developers into the server-side service, while its own developers have made only about 20 changes. OnlyOffice says its code is developed by people from 24 countries. According to Cybernews researchers, time-zone data does not indicate nationality or physical location, but is a technical clue that helps indicate where the work was likely done. “As some countries still use summer/winter time, it is interesting to see that some of the commits never changed the timezone in winter. Which could indicate a narrowed list of countries in which a person is,” researchers said. A Cybernews analysis of roughly 15,600 changes in the OnlyOffice codebase found that about 90% were made on Moscow time. The figure rises to 99.5% when other Russian time zones, such as Omsk, Yekaterinburg, and Samara, are included. Only one change could be traced to Latvia, where the company is registered. Euro-Office developers said on the project’s GitHub page that they’re reviewing and cleaning up the OnlyOffice codebase and that the fork was a “last resort” driven by technical and geopolitical reasons. The Numbers: How Much Russian Energy Europe Still Buys

2.1 Natural Gas: Pipeline and LNG

The European Union’s natural gas imports from Russia tell a complex and contradictory story. On one level, the aggregate decline is undeniable. EU imports of Russian gas fell from over 150 billion cubic meters (bcm) in 2021 to less than 52 bcm in 2024—a reduction of approximately 65%. Russian pipeline gas, which once accounted for 45% of EU gas imports, represented just 12% of EU gas imports by 2025. Yet these headline figures obscure a more troubling reality. The decline in Russian gas imports plateaued in 2024 and partially reversed in 2025. In the first half of 2025, the EU spent up to $8.6 billion on Russian gas imports, representing a 9.4% year-on-year increase. Russian LNG imports specifically surged by 29% in the first six months of 2025, reaching €3.47 billion. Russia accounted for 13.7% of EU LNG imports by mid-2025, second only to the United States at 54.3%. The EU received 207 LNG cargoes from the Yamal LNG facility in 2025, only slightly down from 217 in 2024. In December 2025 alone, EU countries paid €575 million for Russian LNG, with France (€227 million), Spain (€145 million), and Belgium (€134 million) as the largest importers. Pipeline gas continued to flow as well. While the Nord Stream pipelines remained damaged and the Yamal-Europe pipeline via Poland was largely inactive, Russian gas continued to reach Europe through two main routes: the TurkStream pipeline through Turkey, and the Ukrainian transit system (until its shutdown at the end of 2024). Hungary emerged as a leading importer, with Russian pipeline gas imports expected to rise from 6 bcm in 2023 to around 8 bcm in 2025. Slovakia began importing Russian gas via TurkStream through Hungary after the Ukraine transit route closed.

2.2 Crude Oil and Refined Products

The EU’s crude oil imports from Russia declined dramatically following the EU’s embargo on seaborne Russian crude (effective December 2022) and refined products (effective February 2023). Russia’s share of EU oil imports fell from 25.8% in 2021 to just 2.2% in 2025. The EU’s crude oil import bill from Russia dropped from €5.8 billion in the first nine months of 2024 to €3.8 billion in the same period of 2025. However, Russia’s oil exports to Europe did not disappear entirely. In 2020, Europe received 51% of Russia’s crude oil and condensate exports; by 2024, this figure had fallen to 12%, and to 11% in the first half of 2025. Critically, over half of Russia’s remaining exports to Europe in 2024 and 2025 went to Turkey, which has not joined the EU sanctions regime and has become a key refining hub for Russian crude destined for European markets. Moreover, the EU continued to import significant volumes of refined oil products made from Russian crude in third countries—the so-called « refining loophole. » In 2025, the EU and UK imported approximately 290,000 barrels per day of oil products made from Russian crude, with 80% processed in India and 15% in Turkey. Six refineries in India and Turkey exported €807 million worth of refined oil products partially made from Russian crude to the EU, USA, UK, Australia, and Canada in November 2025 alone.

The Country-by-Country Analysis shows the patterns of Russian energy imports vary significantly across EU member states, revealing a geographical and political divide that complicates the narrative of European unity. France: The Champion of Russian LNG. France has emerged as by far the largest European importer of Russian LNG. In 2024, France increased its Russian LNG imports by 80%, spending €26.8 billion. In 2025, France maintained its position as Europe’s largest Russian LNG buyer, importing 6.7 million tonnes annually. By mid-2025, France was receiving 41% of all Russian LNG imported into Europe. In June-August 2025 alone, France received 20 Russian LNG shipments, five more than the same period the previous year, spending €173 million in July alone. French officials have defended these imports as commercially necessary and legally compliant, but critics—including members of the European Parliament—have pointed out the contradiction between France’s role as a leading advocate for Ukraine and its status as Russia’s best LNG customer in Europe. Spain: Gradual Reduction from High BasSpain has been a significant but declining importer of Russian LNG. The country imported 72,360 GWh of Russian gas in 2024, compared to 72,690 GWh in 2023, making Russia Spain’s second-largest gas supplier in 2024. However, Spanish imports of Russian LNG fell sharply in 2025, with deliveries declining by over 50% in the first eight months of the year compared to 2024. By October 2025, Russian LNG accounted for just 3.1% of Spain’s total gas imports, compared to 4,169 GWh in October 2024 versus 1,078 GWh in October 2025. Over the first ten months of 2025, Spain purchased 32,715 GWh of Russian LNG, representing 10.5% of total gas imports. Spain’s reduction reflects a combination of factors: increased imports from the United States (which rose to 30% of Spain’s gas supply in 2025, up from 16.6% in 2024), government pressure to reduce Russian purchases, and the country’s extensive LNG import infrastructure that allows supplier diversification.Belgium has dramatically increased its Russian LNG imports. Belgian intake rose from 2.7 bcm to 5.5 bcm, driven by the port of Zeebrugge’s role as a major LNG import and transshipment hub. Belgium accounted for 28% of Europe’s Russian LNG imports by mid-2025, second only to France. The Netherlands increased its Russian LNG imports by 72% in 2025, reflecting the country’s role as a trading hub and the commercial incentives for European energy companies to purchase cheaper Russian LNG. Hungary and Slovakia: The Pipeline Loyalists; Hungary has maintained and even expanded its pipeline gas imports from Russia, with volumes expected to reach 8 bcm in 2025, up from 6 bcm in 2023. Hungary’s position reflects both its geographical proximity to Russian pipeline routes and the political orientation of Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s government, which has maintained comparatively close relations with Moscow. Slovakia, which previously received Russian gas via Ukraine, pivoted to importing via TurkStream through Hungary after the Ukraine transit route closed at the end of 2024. This demonstrates how pipeline gas flows have been rerouted rather than eliminated.«

Comment lire les tableaux des jeux de mots de la neuvième analyse en combinatoire des mots ?

Chaque ligne des tableaux précédents est un couple (a, b) : a est le mot original, b le jeu de mots. Il est mesuré deux fois avec la même règle : sur les lettres (indice o, ce que l’œil voit) et sur les phonèmes (indice p, ce que l’oreille entend), a′ et b′ étant les transcriptions phonétiques de a et de b. Les tableaux A à E découpent les colonnes de la feuille en groupes ; chacun répète la colonne « Pair a / b » et son en-tête, et le tableau F résume l’ensemble.

Formules

Soit d la distance d’édition (nombre minimal d’insertions, suppressions et substitutions de coût 1 pour passer d’une chaîne à l’autre), et |x| la longueur d’une chaîne :

Les deux forces h_o et h_p sont des nombres rationnels de l’intervalle [0, 1] ; la valeur 1 n’est atteinte que si les deux chaînes comparées sont identiques. Ainsi h_p = 1 signale un homophone parfait (a′ = b′) et Δ > 0 un jeu de mots qui ressemble plus à l’oreille qu’à l’œil. Exemple : fin / faim. Lettres : d_o = 2 et max(3, 4) = 4, donc h_o = 0,5 ; phonèmes : « f ɛ̃ » dans les deux cas, d_p = 0, donc h_p = 1 et Δ = 0,5.

Le type d’édition (colonne X) se lit sur les phonèmes. En notant q = |a′|, r = |b′|, k = d_p et m la distance de Hamming sur les phonèmes (nombre de positions différentes, définie si q = r), les tests sont appliqués dans l’ordre :

« homophone » si k = 0 ; « insertion » si r − q = k ; « deletion » si q − r = k ; « substitution » si q = r et m = k ; « mixed » sinon.
